In short

These terms cover the use of this website and the arranging of an appointment with us. Both are free of charge and commit neither side to any further contract. You can cancel or reschedule an agreed appointment up until it starts.

1. Scope and provider

This website is provided by inviqon GmbH, Kaiserstraße 91, 40764 Langenfeld (Rheinland), Germany. Full provider details are in the imprint.

These terms govern the use of this website and the arranging of an appointment - whether you request it by email, by phone, or through a booking page we provide. Any consulting or development work agreed afterwards is governed by its own contract. Conflicting terms of the user do not become part of this agreement, even where we do not expressly object to them.

2. What this is

This website is an information offering about our services. Using it is free of charge; there is no entitlement to its availability. Its contents are general information and do not replace advice on your particular case.

Arranging an appointment creates an appointment, not a contract for paid services. Neither side is obliged to enter into a contract afterwards. Because nothing chargeable is concluded, no right of withdrawal arises; you can instead cancel the appointment at any time under section 5.

3. When an appointment takes effect

An appointment is agreed once you have received our confirmation email. If no confirmation arrives, no appointment has been made. Please check your spam folder and contact us again if necessary.

4. Your details

Please give your name and email address accurately. Only name further participants if you are entitled to use their email address for this purpose - they will receive an invitation from us.

Please describe only the subject of the call in your request. Do not send us special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR, such as health data, and no credentials. We may decline requests made with obviously incorrect details.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

Either side may cancel or reschedule an appointment up until it starts. A short message to the contact details in the imprint is enough; where our confirmation contains links to cancel and to reschedule, you may use those instead. No charges arise from this.

If you do not join within 15 minutes of the agreed start, we treat the appointment as cancelled. We prefer advance notice, but it is not a condition.

6. Availability

We keep this website available as best we can, but do not promise any particular level of availability. Maintenance, faults and changes to the feature set are possible, and we may discontinue individual features. Appointments already confirmed are unaffected - we will then reach you by the agreed means.

7. Acceptable use

When using this website, you may not

  • request appointments automatically, or in numbers that plainly do not serve scheduling,
  • circumvent security measures or impair the availability of the site,
  • send us unlawful, abusive or promotional content,
  • scrape the page or its contents.

In the event of a breach we may cancel individual appointments and block access. Further claims remain unaffected.

8. Third-party services

Scheduling runs on our own installation at cal.inviqon.de, on a server in Germany. The appointment is written into our Microsoft 365 calendar; where it is held as a video call we use Microsoft Teams. This website runs on our own cluster at OVH in Frankfurt am Main; our mailbox is hosted on Microsoft 365. What is processed in doing so, on what basis and by which recipients, is set out in our privacy policy under "Hosting and delivery" and "Contacting us and arranging an appointment".

Where an appointment takes place as a video call, we name the tool used for it in the invitation. Your relationship with that tool's provider is then governed by their own terms, over which we have no influence.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for fraudulently concealed defects, and under the German Product Liability Act.

For simple negligence we are liable only where a duty is breached whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose observance you may rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of agreement. Liability is otherwise excluded.

These limitations also apply to our legal representatives and agents. For loss of data we are liable only to the extent that would have arisen with proper and regular backups.

10. Changes to these terms

The version published on this page at the time of your request applies. We announce changes here; they do not apply retroactively to appointments already confirmed.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you are habitually resident remain unaffected.

If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these terms is our registered office. On consumer dispute resolution, see the imprint.
